The IH NY Experience

International House New York, like the IH World Organization, was founded by two highly experienced teachers and teacher trainers, Ryan Horsnail and Tasha Hacker.

The founders' strong beliefs in maintaining the highest standard of language teaching and teacher training led them to join the International House World Organization. They wanted to be part of an organization that upholds the same professional values and high standards for education and training, and therefore they are proud to be IH New York.

IH New York prides itself first and foremost on being built on a foundation of excellence in language teaching and teacher training and therefore providing you - our students - with the best language education you can get in New York. At IH New York, you can take English Language Classes, Business English Classes in our Executive English Program, join one of our Summer Camps for Teenagers, or, from our sister school Teaching House, take a Univeristy of Cambridge Teacher Training Course to become an English Teacher.
